China is the world's most populous country, and likewise their language is the spoken by the most people globally.

Many Americans have grown up seeing "Made in China" on virtually everything they own. However, most of us still know very little about China. Before our initial trip, this was also the case with us. This ignorance of an important world culture peaked our interest in learning more for ourselves.

Hopefully the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and all the hype around it, has given you a small view into China. Maybe now it holds a place on your "Places To Go List".
