Welcome to China. We will meet you at the Shanghai International Airport (PVG). Look for us after you make your way through immigration, customs, and retrieving your bags. We'll get you to your apartment where you can relax after your long flight or get ready for an exciting first night on the town. (D)

Today you'll visit the "old side" of Downtown Shanghai which includes the most famous historic landmarks; The Bund, Yu Yuan Gardens, and Nanjing Road. You'll also have a chance to visit world class tailors who provide very good deals. (B,L,D)

Welcome to the neighborhood of Shanghai where we called home for a year. See what we saw, eat where we ate. And experience the world's best engineered Wu Jiao Chang (Five Corner Intersection) in the world. (B,L,D)

Today we take a short 2 hour flight to Beijing. You'll visit the famous Tienanmen square, tour the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace), and be treated to an authentic Beijing Roast Duck dinner at the internationally acclaimed Quan Ju De Restaurant. (L,D)

Monday, June 8th, 2009
Yesterday you saw the Emperor's primary palace. Today we'll travel to the other side of town to visit the Summer Palace. On the way back, we'll tour the 2008 Olympic Site. (B,L,D)

You heard of it, you've seen pictures, now see it for yourself...
The Great Wall. This will be an exciting day. You can rest on the flight back to Shanghai tonight. (L)

Explore the "new side" of Shanghai at your leisure. Your options are plentiful here; two of the top five tallest buildings in the world, a giant mall (with an ice skating rink and movie theater), an aquarium, futuristic architecture, and more.

Today we will escape from the metropolis of Shanghai and travel by land & sea to PutuoShan Island, "The Buddhist Realm". Upon arrival, either relax on the beach or start exploring. (D)

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009
After breakfast we prepare for another boat ride back to Shanghai. Upon arrival, hang out or relax for the rest of the evening. (B,D)

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009
Your last day in Shanghai. Stock up on the souvenirs, finish your shopping. End your last day in China with one of the most traditional meals in China, HotPot. (D)
