Why China?

Why I Went… It was all by chance for me.  In November of my last semester at Towson University, a postcard came for my roommate with a tropical beach on it.  I didn't look twice at it, just put it in his pile.  Later that evening, when reading his mail, he became excited to receive a postcard from his friend teaching English in Japan!

Instantly, I Googled "teach english abroad", and found endless opportunities around the world. Not having been out of the country before, I really would have went anywhere. But only a few pages deep, I saw Towson University on the list.

Long story short… Thanks to Lynda Mermell, Director of the English Learning Center at Towson University, and Mr. Chen Xiong, Director of the Foreign Experts Office at the Shanghai Finance University, I am able to lead & guide you throughout China.

Why You Should Go … I went, I saw, I conquered… The experience has given me knowledge of the country, language, food, culture and customs. I will be able to intimately introduce you to the Chinese culture and help you better appreciate China.
